Start From Zero Hook
Why It Works
- Evoke Emotion [Hope]: The idea that Dan can start from zero and achieve this gives us hope that we can do the same.
- Curiosity Gap: The hook builds curiosity with "Here's what I'd do", but doesn't actually give us the steps, leaving the gap open between what we know, and want to know.
- Specific Call Out: The inclusion of a specific number, like "45" or even "32" (my example) makes the post relatable and stand out. The precision strengthens the hook while also keeping it broadly applicable.

Age Hook Uno Reverse Template
Why It Works
- Age Hook: We have seen the age hook in previous SuperThreads Of The Week, and Kellee uses it masterfully to get us to stop the scroll, but then gives us a twist!
- Transparency: Kellee's vulnerability and raw honesty stops us in our tracks while building a powerful connection with her audience.
- Unexpected Twist: While we may be used to seeing the age hook with a big claim, Kellee throws us a curveball and shares a side of the story we're not used to seeing.
- Curiosity Gap: She takes us for a loop with the unexpected twist, but then doesn't give away any information, leaving the curiosity gap open.
