Why It Works
- Labor Illusion Effect & Authority: "I studied Holistic Psychology" not only establishes authority, but it also makes us feel like he has devoted a ton of time to something, and can now teach us it in this short thread.
- Curiosity Gap: He then says "and was shocked when I realized this" which is empowered by the labor illusion effect. If he studied this and was still shocked, it must be something big!
- Value Driven: He finishes off with "Here’s why...and how to break free", keeping us engaged and waiting for tons of value in the SuperThread.

Why It Works
- Emotional Response: She immediately leads with vulnerability when she says "Let me be real", and then doubles down by sharing "that nearly broke me."
- Curiosity Gap: She already built the curiosity gap with vulnerability and storytelling, but then keeps it open with "Here's what I learned".

Age Hook Into Lessons Template
Why It Works
- The Age Hook: The age hook is a scroll stopper because it builds immediately curiosity. Similar to "This is [NAME]." it causes us to think "Okay, why should I care...well I guess I'll keep reading and find out."
- Labor Illusion Effect: "After 20 years in a corporate job" builds on immediate authority and credibility, but also leverages the labor illusion effect.
- Curiosity Gap: Saying "lessons I wish I knew earlier" builds more curiosity, making us wonder what these are so we learn from any implied mistakes.
